Basketball – Winter 2023-2024
INSTRUCTIONAL - GRADE K-1 CO-ED, GIRLS 2-3, BOYS 2
RECREATIONAL- BOYS GRADE 3 & UP,GIRLS GRADE 4 & UP
LATE REGISTRATION/PAID WAIT LIST BEGINS OCTOBER 10th BASED ON TEAM AVAILABILITY.
Practices and games are played in the ACSD school gyms.
EVALUATIONS
-BOYS 3rd & up
-GIRLS 4th & up
Each division will have an assigned night and time that week.
PLEASE BE AWARE, ALL REGISTRANTS ARE REQUIRED to attend evaluations or they will not be placed on a team.
Evaluations will be held at one of these locations:

6:30 – 7:30 – COACH’S DRAFT
GIRLS 4-5 Grade 7:30 – 8:30 EVALUATION

TUESDAY – Oct. 24th -LMS
BOYS 5-6 Grade 5:30 – 6:30 – EVALUATIONS
6:30 – 7:30 – COACH’S DRAFT
BOYS 7-8 Grade 7:30 – 8:30 EVALUATION
8:30 – COACH’S DRAFT
THURSDAY– Oct. 26th - LMS
BOYS HS 7:00 – 8:00 – EVALUATIONS
8:00 – 9:00 – COACH’S DRAFT
FRIDAY – Oct. 27th – LMS
5:30 – 6:30 Evaluation make ups if required
Girls 6-8 Grade 5:30 – 6:30 – EVALUATIONS
6:30 – 7:30 - COACH’S DRAFT
As in past years, all divisions may play other surrounding recreational leagues. Exact leagues will be determined before the season starts depending on availability.
Note: PV Recreation players cannot play on other leagues. Please plan accordingly. Refunds will not be issued if players are in multiple leagues.

Regular registration end October 9th or when teams fill up
Late registration/paid wait list begins October 10th based on team availability.
REGISTER IMMEDIATELY SO WE CAN START ON TIME
NOTE: Carpooling requests will not be honored as it imposes too many restrictions on coaches and results in unfair start dates.
VOLUNTEERS are always needed! Please consider coaching a team or assisting.

Season Schedule:
Player Assessments are planned for week of October 23rd
Practices will begin in November – each individual coach will notify his/her team as to their specific start date

Winter Weather and Program Closing:
We utilize Arlington Central Schools for our youth basketball program, therefore:
When ACSD closes school for the day or afterschool/evening activities, we are cancelled
